Samsung Galaxy A73 5G Is Now Available In The Indian Market
While the A73 was not included in Samsung’s March A series launch, the company has announced that it will be available in April. The following are the specifics. What we know about the Samsung Galaxy A73 is as follows.
Samsung’s Galaxy A event on March 17 was mostly focused on the new A33 5G and A53 5G models, with no mention of other new models in the series, despite the company’s confirmation of the Galaxy A73’s arrival elsewhere.
Several A73-related leaks surfaced in the lead-up to this current A-series launch event, making the A73’s absence a surprise turn of events, especially given the high-profile releases that its predecessors have experienced.
What is the expected release date for the Samsung Galaxy A73?
As previously stated, Samsung’s A-series event on March 17th made no mention of the A73 or A13, which both officially launched on the same day as the A33 and A53.
“A new addition to the Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A73 5G, will also be available in certain markets on April 22,” read a paragraph at the end of the A33 / announcement A53 press release.
What are the features of the Samsung A73?
Samsung has now released a full spec sheet for the A73, which includes a 6.7-inch 120Hz display, a 108-megapixel primary camera, the loss of the A72’s secondary telephoto lens, a 5000mAh battery, and a familiar design.
Sources claimed that the A73 would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor, but Geekbench data for the phone shows that it runs on a Snapdragon 778G, which is more in line with Samsung’s official specs, which don’t specify a chipset but do mention an octa-core architecture with clock speeds of 2.4GHz and 1.8GHz.

What is the price of the Samsung A73?
Although Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy A73’s launch date, there has been no official word on pricing, so we’ll have to rely on its predecessors’ price tags for now:
- The Samsung Galaxy A72 costs £419/€449/$499/$499/$499/$499/$499/$ (approx) $555
- The Samsung Galaxy A71 costs £419/€449/$499/$499/$499/$499/$499/$ (approx) $555
- Samsung Galaxy A70 (about $555) – £369/€449
With prices maintaining consistency over the last few years, we expect Samsung to do the same with the A73. However, a global shortage of processors, rising manufacturing and shipping costs due to the pandemic, and the adoption of 5G as a standard all contribute to the possibility of a minor price increase.
