Motorola is all set to launch the Moto E22s in India on October 17. The phone was originally launched in China back in September.
The phone will be available exclusively on Flipkart and will come in two variants – 2GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. As for the price, the 2GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 7,499 while the 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 8,999.
The Moto E22s features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1600 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, coupled with 2GB/4GB of RAM.
In terms of optics, the Moto E22s sports a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
The phone runs Android 10 out-of-the-box and packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging via USB Type-C port

The smartphone will come with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a pixel density of 409ppi. The phone will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, paired with Adreno 616 GPU and 4GB/ 6GB of RAM options. The handset is said to run on Android 9.0 Pie and pack in a 3,500mAh battery. In terms of optics, the Moto E6s is tipped to sport a dual rear camera setup that could include a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, there could be an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor. Lastly, the phone is said to measure 155.73×72.26x8mm and weigh 149 grams
Pre-order Details
Pre-orders for the Moto E in India will begin on Flipkart at midnight on October 13th. The device will be available in two colors, black and white, and will be priced at Rs. 6,999 ($115).
Those who pre-order the device will receive a free back cover and a Rs. 1,000 discount on the purchase of a Motorola Xoom 2 tablet. The first 50 customers who pre-order the Moto E will also receive a special edition phone case.
Release Date
The long-awaited launch of the Moto E in India is finally set for October. The phone was first unveiled at a global event in London back in May, and has been available in select markets since then. India was not on that list initially, but Motorola has now confirmed that the Moto E will be arriving here next month.
There is no word on pricing yet, but considering the phone’s specs and features, we expect it to be priced around Rs. 6,000. The Moto E sports a 4.3-inch qHD display, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card), 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera and a 2,070mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and will be upgradeable to Android L later this year.
