Is twitter complying the new rules of the Ministry

Everyone has a question that is twitter banned in India, but according to the latest pieces of information and guidelines in the Information Technology act by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, every social media company should follow the guideline or they will be banned in India. There are officers appointed for monitoring and removing objectionable content from these company websites. And in this guideline, all social media sites have to give a monthly report in which they will have to reveal how they handled user complaints in India. And the government stated that if these companies like Twitter fail to follow the new guidelines then the government will initiate criminal actions and they will also lose their status and protection and the new IT rules are also applicable for all digital OTT platforms.

Twitter has appointed an interim chief compliance officer to follow the new Indian IT rules, these  IT rules came into force by the end of May and are looking to regulate the social media content for more legal validity and this allows them to remove any unwanted posts if it is violating the terms and new officers were appointed.
